It’s been a week since our first meeting and I just want to say a big thank you to everyone who was there. I learnt so much from you all and I am grateful for the opportunity to facilitate the meetings!
Some very exciting conversations were had and my perspective on the first half of Genesis has been enriched. As we are currently working through Job, I am learning even more about God’s character and learning about the importance of trusting him: God is transforming my head knowledge into heart knowledge.
As we go through the Bible Recap, I would like you to always seek alternative perspectives and let yourself be guided by the Holy Spirit. And on that note, my very good friend Demi (you might have heard of her 😉) shared a really good word that explores another perspective on Job:
During the week, I asked you guys to describe your journey through the Bible so far in one word. Some people feel it has been tough, while others are finding it very exciting. It is important to note that in both cases, God is refining you. Ask Him to teach you to love Him more through His word and ask Him to give you exciting revelations that will deepen your understanding of Him.
If you are new to this community, I want to say a massive welcome. We are so excited to have you and pray God will continue to refine you throughout this process.
