I cant remember exactly when, but at some point last year God told me to host an event for Skinneeds. He didn’t give me precise details but I was certain that if He had spoken, He would reveal the rest in his own time. By November last year, I got confirmation that the event was to happen in April, 2019.
After a lot of prayer and much needed encouragement from friends, I bought my ticket two weeks ago and i’m coming to Lagos to do what I believe God has told me to do!
I wont deny that doing this is slightly nerve racking, i’ve been trying to lean on God for every single detail; including the date, timing of the event and most importantly, what to speak about.
Last week, I was sitting at my desk at work when God spoke so clearly; ‘Your Sin Has No Hold Over You’.
You see, I have been praying for God to speak to me about what to say to His daughters so when He finally told me, I was beyond excited!!.
I believe God wants to use this event to address and dissolve feelings like shame, guilt, condemnation and depression amongst His children.
EVENT DETAILS
The event starts at 2pm on Sunday the 14th of April. Come hungry cause there’ll be loads of healthy and nutritious food - all meals will be dairy and gluten free. There will be refreshing coconut, lemon and watermelon infused water to drink.
Skinneeds combines three very underlying aspects of an individuals wellbeing; Spirituality, Wellness and Beauty.
My goal is for this event to embody all three of those elements. The good bags provided will contain amazing skin care products , including but not limited to the very popular ‘onyx polish’ by Aramiessentials and other amazing products from Nigerian brands.
Come expecting to leave liberated and refreshed because thats exactly what happens when the Spirit of God is present in a place.
